I made mention last week that I would share recent pics of my newest kitty! Here is what she looked like a few months ago, shortly after being born:
I’d say she was probably about a month old here.
Here’s what she looks like now:
She’s getting more of a chocolate color to her coat, which kinda saddens me, but it’s all good. She was given a flea powder treatment before these pictures were taken. Those pesky things are in great abundance around grandma’s house.
Here she is with one of her sister’s, Sophie:
Sophie is definitely a grandma’s girl! She loves cuddling with my grandma and is just adorable. Notice the size difference? She was the runt and will probably be a very small adult cat. I wish I could bring them both home, but for now Ebony will remain with her siblings and mother and aunts and cousins at grandma’s house!
They're both lovely. They have such big ears until they can sufficiently grow into them!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so adorable! Does Ebony have 5 toes? Kind of looks like it in the picture. I've never had a cat with 5 toes before. Probably better to climb a tree with too!

Both Sophie and Ebony look like they have the life!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteThey are both adorable and it would be hard for me to pick! sandie
ReplyDeleteYeah, she has an extra toe on both front paws. I guess that's what is called a "Hemingway cat". Apparently his cats had extra toes, lol! There were several in this litter that had this birth formation (I won't call it a malformation because it's too cute).
ReplyDeleteThat third photo on the right of Ebony looks just like one of the cats I once had (before I found him a home) I had to look twice. He was such a lover and I still miss him.
ReplyDeleteYour cats are lovely and maybe some day I can have one or two - but for now, Gizzy won't allow any kitty cats in the house, so I just have to be content feeding the strays and sneaking in a petting session when he's not looking...he's so possessive of me ;-)
